I found some info finally on the sequel to Life on Mars. I was reading SFX this weekend and in the Red alert section they had the low down on the new show. It's set in the 80s in London and DCI Gene Hunt, Ray Carling and Chris Skelton are all going to be in it. Sounds like it could be fun.

Is that the guy who plays Sam? Apparently the woman filling his sort of role knows about Hunt because in the present day she's been reading reports written by Sam in the 70's.

Yes!

I am looking forward to his forthcoming appearance in Dr Who!

Yes, it looks like an interesting premise - hopefully a new exploration of the theme, rather than flogging a good idea to death!

I read SFX magazine and each month there is a production diary of what's going on as they make Ashes to Ashes. It sounds like it's gonna be class :-)

Any idea when it should be released?

I think they said spring 2008, so a bit of a wait unfortunately.

Trailers are being shown saying it's coming soon. No date given, but a search online seems to suggest 7 Feb, so not too long to wait :-)

Cool :-) I'll be watching out for that.

Here's a trailer I found on Youtube for it, it looks class.

Drat, it clashes with my pub quiz. Will have to try and watch it on the interactive thingie on cable.
